WELCOME BACK CATJESUS.
Driving through the lower Ninth Ward. It’s just…empty. Don’t know what I was expecting because I admittedly don’t know as much about post-Katrina housing and redevelopment policy as I should, but what’s striking is that it’s empty here, and there are still Xs demarcating many of the houses that are standing.
